Zim Defender Jordan Zemura scores first serie A goal. Jordan Zemura, the Zimbabwe international defender, scored an excellent goal from just inside the box as Udinese drew 1-1.

At home to Cagliariin the 14th minute, Zemura went into enemy territory unmarked on the left and after getting to the end of an otherwise poor cross, he smashed a right-footed strike into the roof of the net.

This was Zemura’s first-ever goal in Serie A, which is one of the top domestic leagues in Europe after his move there from English Premiership side, Bournemouth. Unfortunately, the draw didn’t help Udinese’s cause in their fight against relegation. With 23 points from 25 games, Udinese are placed 15th in the 20-team Serie A. However, they are just three points above 18th-placed Verona, who sit in the final relegation position.
