Wicknell Chivayo Rewards Ex-Convict Who Invented “ED Huchi” Slogan With A Car – An alleged rapist who received early release from prison through an amnesty last year has been gifted a vehicle by the controversial businessman, Wicknell Chivhayo.
Zimbabweans have expressed their opinions regarding the recent incident, with many insisting that this is an act of disrespect to the rape victim and all other victims of sexual violence.
A woman, who wished to remain anonymous, said that the act is a mockery not only to the raped child but also to all rape victims and other survivors of sexual assault.
The action by Wicknell, however, has elicited different reactions from the public, with some commending the businessman for giving the convicted rapist a second chance at life, while others remain outraged by the decision.
