The pregnancy news of a 23-year-old woman carrying two sets of identical twins at the same time is a rare occurrence that has set a new world record.
A couple from Kempsey, New South Wales, Australia, Ebony Apps, 23 and Jayden, 21, who have previously undergone two miscarriages received a surprise of their lifetime when they discovered they were pregnant with a set of quadruplets, including two sets of identical twins during their second scan on October 26.
We both went into a state of utter shock and we were so worried about how we would care and provide for four newborns, but I know that we will manage it.
It was reported that quadruplet pregnancies are said to be rare, but carrying two sets of identical twins along with them is even rarer, with the likelihood being one in 70 million.

With the support and kindness that Ebony and Jayden have been receiving, they seem to be coping well with their situation and are looking forward to welcoming the quadruplets in June.
Considering we found out that we are having four babies rather than just the one that we thought we would have, everything is working out, she said.
Due to the pregnancy’s nature, Ebony will be having a scheduled C-section in April.
