Baba Harare Adds His Two Cents Over Al Jazeera Gold Mafia Documentary

Jiti musician Baba Harare has reacted to the Al Jazeera Gold Mafia documentary, blasting fake motivational speakers who loot national wealth.

Zimbabwean social media streets are blazing hot over Gold Mafia, the Al Jazeera investigation that unravelled a gold smuggling and money laundering schemes by a group of people in the country.

The documentary implicated Kamlesh Pattni, a pastor and alleged international gold smuggler; Uebert Angel, special envoy and ambassador-at-large to Europe and the Americas; Zimbabwe Miners Federation president Henrietta Rushwaya; alleged smuggler Ewan Macmillan and wealthy tobacco tycoon Simon Rudland, among others.

Politically-conscious singer and guitarist Baba Harare has added his two cents over Gold Mafia. The Haubvire hitmaker reprimanded flamboyant socialites and prominent figures who flaunt ill-gotten wealth on social media and pose as honest businesspeople while calling everyone lazy.

Zimbabweans, enraged all day by the damning Al Jazeera exposé, shared their sentiments with Baba Harare.
