VIDEO: Dr Malinga Apologizes For Not Showing Up At A Zimbabwean Show

Renowned South African musician Dr Malinga, real name Goodwill Malinga has apologized for not making it to a Zimbabwean show for his performance as promised after facing deportation on Friday.

He was supposed to perform at Ngoma Primary School in Gwanda.

In a 44 seconds video recording shared by Earground, the South African musican said sincerely apologized stating how the circumstances were beyond his control ;

“Yesterday we flew to Zimbabwe but we got deported. So we were supposed to perform at Ngoma but we got deported. It’s not like we didn’t come. We came. We even shot videos that we are here. We landed but they deported us,” Zimbabwe sorry for that. But it was complications from your side, from promoter’s side not from my side because mina I came.”

According to the Zimbabwean law, artists visiting the country are required to secure a work permit prior to their visit to avoid inconvenience.
