Shadaya, Popular Socialite, Loses Car Gift Due to Sexist Social Media Posts – Zimbabwean socialite, Shadaya, has lost the chance to receive a car gift from businessman Wicknell Chivayo due to his sexist posts on social media. Chivayo had been buying cars for various celebrities, including musicians, DJs, bloggers, and politicians.

However, he withdrew his offer to the popular “Salt of Earth” socialite due to his negative posts about women on social media.

Yesterday, the controversial millionaire, Wicknell Chivayo, reportedly gifted eight Toyota Aqua cars to notable individuals like self-acclaimed prophet Talent Madungwe and comedian Jah Bob as well as popular online blogs like Zimcelebs and Pachopisa.

The exact amount he spent on the gifts was undisclosed.

Chivayo, who is known for his flamboyant lifestyle, stated that the cars were a way of showing appreciation to those who have supported him.

Local social commentator Tawona Shadaya received a wave of backlash and criticism from American Twitter users after he tweeted a derogatory comment shaming celebrity couple Rihanna and Asap Rocky. Shadaya is no stranger to insults and criticism, having faced pushback from his fellow Zimbabweans for his views on modern masculinity, which many feel are toxic and unhelpful.

On this occasion, the self-proclaimed “Alpha Male” made a misstep with a tweet that attacked Asap Rocky for not being the leader in his marriage. Shadaya took issue with a Vogue Magazine cover featuring Rihanna leading the way while Asap carried their baby, which he believed was emblematic of the emasculation of men.
