Makoti Vanishes with Lobola, Leaving Heartbroken Pastor Seeking Sangoma’s Help

A South African woman has vanished after allegedly scamming her Nigerian boyfriend out of his lobola money.

Sindiswa Majola reportedly disappeared after large sums of money were paid to her “uncle” as lobola by her fiancé, Michael Obode, a pastor with a church in Mamelodi, Pretoria.

Majola and her uncle vanished with the R150,000 lobola payment, leaving Pastor Obode fuming. Neighbors suspect that the man posing as Majola’s uncle was actually her boyfriend, Bafana Madikizela.

Adding to the drama, Pastor Obode threatened to consult a powerful sangoma to “make her mad” if she doesn’t return the money. The pastor is determined to get his lobola back, claiming he was scammed by the woman he intended to marry.
