Former US President Donald Trump Launches Sneaker Line Amidst $355 Million Civil Fraud Trial in New York – Former President Donald Trump introduced his latest business venture, “Trump Sneakers,” at the Sneaker Con event in Philadelphia on February 17th, a day after being ordered to pay almost $355 million in his New York civil fraud trial. The “NEVER SURRENDER HIGH-TOP SNEAKER,” priced at $399, was placed at the podium during his speech. By that night, 1,000 pairs of the sneakers had been sold out on the website. The former President is also selling $199 sneakers branded with “T” and “45” on the sides, as well as perfume and cologne at $99 each. Trump claims he has been talking about launching a shoe line for 12-13 years and sees it as a big success.

However, Trump Sneakers are not affiliated with Donald J. Trump, The Trump Organization, or any of their respective affiliates. Instead, they are a “trademark of CIC Ventures LLC,” and licensed under the Trump name, image, and likeness by 45Footwear, LLC.

After Sneaker Con, Trump was expected to go to Michigan, where he will address supporters, his first event since New York cases placed in the spotlight the legal issues he is facing on numerous fronts. Along with the criminal trial in a hush money case beginning on March 25th, Trump and his companies were ordered to pay almost $355 million for inflating property values. Along with the $83 million defamation judgment issued against him for E. Jean Carroll, totaling around $438 million in fines issued over the past four weeks. Despite these legal setbacks, Trump is considered a frontrunner for the 2024 Republican nomination, potentially setting up a rematch with President Joe Biden.
