An elderly man residing in Christon Bank has left his family astounded after presenting his wife of 51 years with a “divorce token”.
Dadai Katiyo, a 76-year-old retired public servant, is now living with a 23-year-old named Tapiwa whom he claims to be his true love.
He admits that he has lived a life of lies and that Tapiwa has helped him uncover his true identity as a woman trapped in a man’s body.
Since then, Katiyo has been seen sporting skinny jeans, lace-up boots, and lengthy cardigans.
Although Tapiwa describes himself as a model, Katiyo’s family label him as a male prostitute and accuse him of using their father for his riches.
The family’s eldest daughter, Maureen Mazivisa, believes that Tapiwa has bewitched her father, leading him to become gay suddenly.
Katiyo’s wife, Gogo Igirita Musemwa, is devastated by the recent turn of events and describes Tapiwa’s behavior as unspeakable.
