‘Im Not A Politician’: Holy Ten Bounces Back, Dodges Bullets In Ollah’s Interview

Speaking live in an interview on Star FM’s Afterdrive show with Dj Ollah, the CEO of Samanyanga records cleared the air on a lot of issues including his controversial collaboration with dancehall chanter Winky D, relationship with other artists like Voltz and his position as the king of music.

Holy 10 who started recording at age 18 responded to the trolls he attracted after tweeting about his collabo with Winky D.

He had this to say; “You think I will just tweet? People should slow down, take it easy, listen, read and interpret. Allow me to lead the youth. I’m trying to get the youths out of certain circles but lm not a politician. That message was for people like journalists who misinterpret things.”

“As leader of the youths l have the guts to say what needs to be talked about, things in spaces some people don’t know about, nothing political. Not saying lm scared like the stories l am seeing. Let’s learn to read tweets.”

Asked by Ollah who the best rappers are and why he suggests he surpass his contemporaries like Stunner and Mudiwa Hood, he said;  “l believe lm king of Zim Hip hop at wn moment, l believel lm the king of Zimbabwe Music as a whole. I stand as the biggest artist. Even upcoming artist should take my number, l will get them to the top.”

Holly Ten went on to drop a sub for Winky D saying, “If you have a plan and you wanna do something and you have an agenda, and soldiers, please tell your soldiers the whole plan.”

Speaking in response to his connection with album of the year winner Voltz Jt, Holy 10 said;  “Voltz is very talented. But we will never have peace. There will never be peace. We are at war. Also a son will remain a son.”

As always, the social media users made noise regarding this interview.

Here are some comments;

“Mujaya knows how to play his cards,,, it takes power and wisdom to do what he does…whatever energy that comes to him, its adding up to his greatest. Watch and learn” – @DhalaRaphael

“The  guy has got talent but claiming himself as king of Zim music is a mess” – @Caleb45129061.

“Mujaya is more intelligent than most trolling him, he is smart and collected. I’m sure he will bounce back.” added another fan.

Recently the rapper made a surprising announcement that he was launching a new album titled The Book of Malachi this Friday hence all this can be seen as a public stunt.

The ten-track album contains features from Majorsteez, Michael Magz, Xiba and Ghanaian Reggae and Dancehall artist Epixode.
