Zimbabwe Football Supporters Stranded in South Africa Due to Financial Mismanagement – The Zimbabwe National Soccer Supporters Association (ZNSSA) has issued an apology following logistical and financial issues during the recent World Cup qualifier trip to Orlando Stadium in South Africa.
Several supporters were left stranded at the Newtown bus rank in Johannesburg due to alleged mismanagement of funds by the ZNSSA Treasurer.

It is reported that funds collected for transportation were misused, with one individual allegedly diverting $1,000 for personal use.
ZNSSA President Joseph Mutawu issued a statement expressing regret over the incident and promised a full investigation.
The association is awaiting reports from executive members who accompanied supporters to determine what transpired.

Mutawu assured members and the public that steps will be taken to prevent similar occurrences in future engagements.
