ZRP Arrests Trio Linked to High-Stakes Home Invasions in Kadoma and Gweru
The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) has confirmed the arrest of three suspects in connection with a violent robbery that occurred on March 21, 2025, in Victory Park, Kadoma.
The suspects, identified as Shingirirai Chipuwe (26), William Chapo (38) and Masiya Masiya Masamba (42), allegedly attacked two victims before making off with several valuables, including four cellphones, a 55-inch Hisense TV, four blankets, a laptop, a decoder, a Nissan Sylphy vehicle, US$180 in cash and various clothes.
In a statement shared on their official Twitter account, ZRP revealed that police investigations have linked the suspects to another robbery that took place in Senga, Gweru.
Authorities have since recovered a metal detector stolen during the Gweru incident.
Law enforcement continues to intensify efforts to combat armed robberies and urges the public to report any suspicious activities.
The suspects remain in custody as investigations progress.
