ZRP Appeals For Help Identifying Man Found Dead Along Baines Avenue – The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) has appealed to members of the public for assistance in identifying the body of an unknown man who was found dead along Baines Avenue in Harare.
In a statement, police said the body was discovered on April 29, 2026.
“The ZRP is appealing for information which may assist in identifying the body of an unknown male adult who was found dead along Baines Avenue, Harare, on 29/04/2026,” police said.

According to the police, the deceased had a freshly stitched wound on the back of his head at the time his body was discovered.
“The victim had a freshly stitched wound on the back of the head and was wearing a brown and cream jersey with a brown horizontal stripe on the front, a blue T-shirt and blue underwear,” said the ZRP.
Police added that the body is being kept at the Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals mortuary pending identification and further investigations.
