Zimbabwe’s Gorimbo Nominated For 2023 World MMA Award

Zimbabwean MMA fighter, Themba Gorimbo has been nominated for the World Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) award.

As announced by the MMA news agency, Gorimbo has been nominated under the Fighting Spirit Award category as recognition for his charity works through building a water pump in Zimbabwe and putting others ahead of himself.

According to MMA, the voting will conclude on September 30.

The venue for the 15th Annual Fighters Only MMA awards will be announced shortly.

Recently, Gorimbo went viral after wrestler-cum-Hollywood superstar Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson gifted him with a fully furnished Miami house.

This is after he has lamented his financial woes revealing in a post-match interview that he had only US$7 in his bank account.
