Zimbabwean Family Killed in Tragic Limpopo Accidents Linked to Ministerial Vehicle – South African police have opened two culpable homicide cases following a devastating series of road accidents in Bela-Bela, Limpopo, involving a vehicle reportedly linked to South African Health Minister Aaron Motsoaledi.
According to reports, the tragedy began on Saturday when a Zimbabwean man escorted his wife and two children to a bus station so they could travel back to Zimbabwe. After dropping them off, the man was allegedly struck by a vehicle while crossing the road on his way home.
He died instantly at the scene.

Reports indicate that the couple’s 14-year-old child witnessed the fatal accident and immediately phoned the mother, urging her to return to the scene. In a state of panic and carrying another young child on her back, the woman reportedly rushed back towards the accident site.
In a heartbreaking turn of events, the mother and the child she was carrying were also struck by another vehicle reportedly linked to Minister Motsoaledi.
Both died on the spot.
Authorities say the second accident was severe, while the 14-year-old child reportedly sustained serious injuries after witnessing the traumatic incidents.
The South African Police Service has since confirmed that two separate culpable homicide investigations have been opened as authorities seek to establish the circumstances surrounding the fatal crashes.
