Woman Dumped After Tattooing President Ruto’s Face on Her Body

A woman from Nairobi is asking for help after her husband of over 10 years kicked her out of their home over political differences.
Rachel Muthoni, a mother of two from Mwiki in Kasarani, said problems in her marriage started when she began supporting William Ruto, while her husband backed the rival “wantam” faction.
Last Friday, Muthoni got a tattoo of Ruto’s face and the slogan “tutam” to show her support. She said her husband became angry after seeing the tattoos and told her to leave.
“He saw the tattoos as I was going to shower. I did it because I strongly support the president and didn’t care about the consequences,” she said.
Muthoni is now looking for a place to stay and says losing her marriage has deeply affected her. She insists there is nothing wrong with having political views and even appealed to the president for help.
Her story has sparked mixed reactions online, with some people mocking her actions while others blamed her husband for ending the marriage over politics.
