Walter Musona, captain of Simba Bhora, has been awarded the 2024 Castle Lager Soccer Star of the Year at a banquet in Harare on Friday night. The winner was chosen through online voting by journalists, coaches, and club captains.
Lynoth Chikuhwa of Highlanders received the Golden Boot Award for scoring seventeen goals in the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League and was the first runner-up for the Soccer Star of the Year. Fans selected Khama Billiat from Yadah as the Fans’ Choice Award winner, and he was also the second runner-up.
