VIDEO: Vendor Defends Self Against Allegations She Dated Two Mufakose Brothers – A woman has defended herself against allegations surrounding a tragic love triangle involving two brothers, leading to a fatal confrontation.

Phillipa, a vendor at Gwenyambira Shopping Centre, asserts that her involvement in the situation has been exaggerated, insisting she was exclusively with the older brother, Pardon Ncube, and not his younger sibling, Prince.

“I want everyone to know I was not dating Prince,” she stated firmly. “I was in a relationship with Pardon only. When we started dating, he told me they hadn’t spoken for nearly ten months.”

Phillipa maintains that the feud between the brothers began well before her entry into the picture, stemming from a disagreement during Prince’s lobola ceremony months ago. “It started over financial issues,” she explained. “Participants were expecting $25 each, but he only offered them $20. He then complained to their father about Pardon allegedly demanding money from him.”

This dispute, she claims, set off a lasting animosity between the two siblings. “By the time I met Pardon, the brothers had already stopped talking to each other.”

Eyewitnesses reported that the fatal incident unfolded during a casual game of snooker at the shopping center.

A seemingly trivial verbal exchange escalated dramatically, resulting in Pardon being stabbed three times by Prince, a 27-year-old nurse, who recently wed and works at Sally Mugabe Central Hospital.

Tragically, Pardon succumbed to his injuries shortly after at a nearby clinic. Following the incident, Prince has reportedly gone into hiding.

Inspector Luckmore Chakanza confirmed the ongoing murder investigation, urging anyone with information to step forward. “We are looking into a case involving two biological brothers in Mufakose,” he said.

Members of the local community have varied opinions about the incident. Some suggested that the situation had been blown out of proportion. “This isn’t about Phillipa. People love to exaggerate and spice up stories for gossip,” wrote @TendiSibbs on X (formerly known as Twitter).

Another user theorized that other underlying issues might have influenced the brothers’ actions. “Having spent years in ghetto gyms, I’m convinced those guys were on steroids, which can really affect your mental state,” @AsinaMari posted.

The tragedy has left their father, Charles Ncube, in disbelief. He was working on their farm when he received the news. “I had no clue about the problems they were facing. I’m still trying to wrap my head around it all,” he lamented.
