VIDEO: Chinese National Protests Car Clamping by Sitting in Harare Road

VIDEO: Chinese National Protests Car Clamping by Sitting in Harare Road – Tension flared in Harare’s Central Business District when a Chinese national staged a protest by sitting in the middle of the road after his car was clamped by city council parking officials for alleged violations.

The man refused to move, insisting that his vehicle should not have been clamped, thereby disrupting traffic along Kaguvi Street.

Eyewitnesses recorded the incident, which quickly circulated on social media, sparking debate over parking enforcement and perceived special treatment of foreign nationals.

City officials have yet to release an official statement, but the protest has added to public frustration over inconsistent law enforcement and road management in the capital.
