Tragedy in Victoria Falls: Local Man Killed by Elephant

A heartbreaking incident occurred in the Mkhosana CBZ area of Victoria Falls on Sunday night, when a local man was tragically trampled by an elephant.

The victim, identified as 38-year-old Gift Siziba, was an employee of the hospitality company Wild Horizon.

Reports indicate that Siziba was en route to a colleague’s funeral when the incident took place.

Eyewitnesses described how the elephant approached Siziba near a residential property, seized him, and dragged him a considerable distance.

The animal then knelt and stomped on him outside a house, leaving him deceased.

Following the incident, the elephant retreated into the nearby bush.
