Top Orlando Pirates Fan Goodenough Sithole Has Died

Football family is saddened by the sudden death of Orlando Pirates superfan Mr Good enough Sithole.  Goodenough passed away in the early hours of this morning.

He was well known for dressing like a woman when attending  games whcih featured Orlando Pirates.

At 12, Mr Sithole started supporting The Buccaneers, the first Southern African team to win the African championship in 1995.

He will be remembered for his household name in South Africa with lyrics of his name featuring in songs by DJ Cooperman from Bulawayo and South African rapper Cassper Nyovest.

Sithole’s journey has been transformed into a commercial success story, bringing comedy into play.

The line was taken from the infamous television interview he gave in 2011 with Deshi Bhaktawer, former SABC football reporter in 2011 after winning the Fan of the Day award.

The interview went viral, garnering more than 320 524 views on YouTube as of yesterday, and the expression “I enjoy it for the Pirates” started to gain popularity in the area.

Because of his difficulties speaking English, the South Africans could have made fun of him and reduced him to being an object, but instead they saw his enormous commercial value.  MHSRIP
