Teenage Hadebe Suspended One Match After TikTok Whisky Video

Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA) has suspended Warriors defender Teenage Hadebe for one match for breaking the national team’s code of conduct.
Hadebe will sit out Zimbabwe’s Mukuru 4 Nations final against Zambia after footage on the social media app TikTok showed him holding a bottle of whiskey while in camp. Team rules prohibit such behavior.
The player has apologized and accepted the one-match suspension, ZIFA said.
“The Zimbabwe Football Association confirms that Warriors defender Teenage Hadebe has been found in breach of the team’s camp code of conduct,” the statement read.
“Following this, a disciplinary decision has been taken in line with team regulations. Teenage Hadebe has been suspended for one match and will therefore miss the final of the Mukuru Four-Nation Tournament against Zambia.
“The player has since apologised to the team and the Association, and has accepted the disciplinary outcome.”
Warriors will face Zambia in the final of the Mukuru Four-Nation Tournament at Obed Itani Stadium in Francistown, Botswana on Tuesday. Kickoff is at 3 pm CAT.
