Scott Sakupwanya Donates US$100,000 to Simba Bhora

Scott Sakupwanya Donates US$100,000 to Simba Bhora – Businessman, philanthropist, and Scottland FC President, Mr. Scott Sakupwanya, has made two significant contributions to Zimbabwean football this week.

Mr. Sakupwanya has extended a US$100,000 donation to Simba Bhora Football Club to support the team’s preparations and participation in the CAF Champions League preliminary round against Eswatini’s Nsingizini FC.

The first leg of the tie is scheduled to take place this Sunday at Obed Itani Chilume Stadium in Francistown, Botswana, with the return fixture set for the following week in Eswatini.

In addition to the financial donation, Mr. Sakupwanya has pledged to fund the team’s winning bonuses should they advance to the second round of the competition.

In a separate but equally notable gesture, Mr. Sakupwanya also presented Dynamos Football Club midfielder, Mr. Denver Mukamba, with a Toyota Corolla vehicle valued at approximately US$27,000.

The gift was made in recognition of the player’s exceptional performance during the 2025 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League (PSL) season.

Mr. Mukamba, a former Warriors international, was a central figure in Scottland FC’s 2024 promotion campaign, during which the club secured its first-ever advancement to the PSL under Mr. Sakupwanya’s leadership.

Although Mukamba has since returned to Dynamos, he continues to demonstrate professionalism, leadership, and outstanding form.

This is not the first instance of recognition by Mr. Sakupwanya.

Earlier this season, the midfielder received a US$1,000 cash reward from the legislator for scoring the decisive goal in a league fixture between Dynamos and Scottland FC.
