Satchel With Cash Snatched At Service Station In Transit Heist

Police are have launched a manhunt for three suspects following a cash in transit robbery that occured on Tuesday.

According to a police report seen by Afrogazette, ZRP reported that two men who had collected money at a service station along Kirkman Road, Harare were robbed of a satchel with cash amounting to US$79 000.

The satchel was then accosted away by three unknown suspects who fled the scene in a Toyota Mark X vehicle.

“We advise companies to use professional security services to conduct cash in transit activities,” urged the police.

The police is still investigating the case and no arrests have been made.
