Robert Mugabe Junior Arrested in Harare for Drug Possession
Robert Mugabe Junior, the son of Zimbabwe’s late former president, was arrested yesterday in Harare after police reportedly found him with illegal drugs, according to 263Chat.
The 33-year-old was taken into custody by officers from the Drugs and Narcotics division and is currently held at Harare Central Police Station.
Sources say Mugabe Jr. had two sachets of dagga (marijuana) and a quantity of white powder, believed to be cocaine, hidden among cash in his possession.
He is scheduled to appear before magistrates in Harare this morning.
As of now, police have not released an official statement regarding the incident.
