Rimbi Returns To Business

The transport ministry has lifted the suspension of operator’s licence for all Rimbi Travel and Tours omnibuses with immediate effect.
The reverse comes after the bus company revoked its court application aimed at suing government and issued an apology.
The Rimbi franchise has been ‘forgiven’ following its ban after the accident which occured along Nyamapanda road claiming the life of its conductor.
Their trade will however not continue operating on the Harare-Nyamapanda route.
Rimbi submitted a letter of consent to withdraw from the Harare-Nyamapanda route for an alternative route.
The other trade which was involved in the accident, Zebra Kiss has since bounced back after being given the permission to continue with its operations after efforts to approach the government first.
