Remembering Zimbabwean Music Legend Oliver Mtukudzi: Mzansi Still Love His Music

South Africans List Their Favorite Songs From Zimbabwean Music Legend Oliver Mtukudzi  Ohh, what a legend…..  His music knows no bounds and continues to live in people’s hearts even after his death.

Seeing as January marks the month Zimbabwean music legend Oliver Mtukudzi passed away, South Africans have decided to list their favourite songs from the muso and give him his flowers.  Oliver Mtukudzi passed away on the 23rd of January 2019 at the age of 66.

He was one of the best music greats to ever come out of Zimbabwe. With his guitar and vocal prowess, he serenaded the world with his eclectic beautiful melodies.Oliver Mtukudzi was indeed a lyrical genius, and his music could touch people’s souls.  He had more than 60 albums under his belt in a career that spanned over 45 years.

South Africans regard him as one of the great African talents.Taking to the comment section listed their favourite songs from the musician, with some even revealing why they love his music so much.

Regardless of the language barrier, his fans from South Africa love his songs, and some even sing along to his songs even though sometimes the lyrics will not be correct.
