UFIC leader Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa surprised his followers and critics alike when he joined a youth gathering at his church and played pool and table soccer with them.
The event, which attracted over 20,000 youths from across the country, was held at the United Family International Church (UFIC) headquarters in Chitungwiza on Saturday. It was meant to celebrate the achievements and talents of the young people in the church and to inspire them to pursue their dreams.
Prophet Makandiwa, who is known for his controversial miracles and prophecies, showed a different side of himself when he mingled with the youths and challenged them to a friendly game of pool and table soccer. He displayed his skills and humour as he competed with some of the best players in the church.
The prophet also shared his life story with the youths, telling them how he grew up in a farming family in Muzarabani and became a pastor in the Apostolic Faith Mission in Zimbabwe (AFM) before founding UFIC in 2008. He encouraged them to work hard, have faith and follow God’s will for their lives.
The youths were delighted and inspired by the prophet’s gesture and praised him for being humble, approachable and fun-loving. They said they learned a lot from him and felt motivated to pursue their passions and goals.
