Police Investigate Viral Video of Bolt Cutter Bus Crew Allegedly Ass@ulting Learners – The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) has launched investigations into a viral social media video showing members of the Bolt Cutter Bus Crew allegedly ass@ulting passengers at Musami Cross in Domborembudzi.
The incident reportedly occurred on Friday, 27 June, after a group of schoolboys boarded a Bolt Cutter bus at Juru Growth Point heading to Mutoko.
According to information circulating on social media, the bus was already full when they boarded, but they were assured that seats would become available during the journey.
However, when the bus reached Musami Cross, it allegedly became even more overcrowded.

The schoolboys reportedly requested a refund for the remaining part of their journey so they could remain behind and look for alternative transport.
Instead of receiving a refund, the boys were allegedly forced off the bus and assaulted by members of the bus crew. It is also alleged that the US$20 they had paid for transport was not refunded.
The disturbing footage, which has since gone viral, shows two members of the group repeatedly kicking one of the passengers in the head while he lay helplessly on the ground.
Following the assault, the victim appeared disoriented, unstable and seemingly unconscious, raising fears that he may have sustained serious injuries.
In a statement, police confirmed that they had taken note of the incident and that investigations are underway.
“The Zimbabwe Republic Police has taken note of the incident and investigations are currently underway to establish the full circumstances surrounding the matter and identify all persons involved,” the ZRP said.
Police assured the public that all those found responsible would face the full force of the law.
“The public is assured that appropriate action will be taken in accordance with the law. The Zimbabwe Republic Police strongly condemns all forms of violence, disorderly conduct and acts that endanger human life and public safety. Anyone found responsible for the assault will be dealt with without fear or favour,” the statement added.
