Police Hunt Hezy Motors Director Over US$155,000 Vehicle Import Scam – Police have launched a manhunt for Hazel Silibaziso Mafu, the director of Hezy Motors Logistics Private Limited, in connection with multiple fraud allegations involving vehicle importation deals.

According to the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP), the cases were reported between 2022 and April 2026.

Investigators allege that Mafu advertised vehicle importation services and promised clients affordable vehicles sourced from outside the country.

Police said several clients allegedly paid money for the vehicles, but the cars were never delivered.

“So far, 20 complainants have reported losing a total of US$155,211,” police said.

The ZRP has appealed to members of the public with information regarding Mafu’s whereabouts to report to the nearest police station or contact the National Complaints Desk or the CID Commercial Crimes Division.

Investigations into the matter are continuing.
