Police Arrest Phillip Chiyangwa’s Son in Connection with Robert Mugabe Junior’s Alleged Drug Syndicate – The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) has confirmed the arrest of Phillip Munetsi Chiyangwa and members of a suspected drug syndicate accused of peddling and possessing illegal substances.
The 26-year-old son of businessman Phillip Chiyangwa, appeared in court on Thursday facing charges of possessing dangerous dru_gs.
Chiyangwa was arrested on Wednesday in Highlands together with his associate, 25-year-old Tanaka Phil Kashambe.

Police reported that the pair was found in possession of one gram of cannabis.
During his court appearance, Chiyangwa alleged that detectives had planted the drugs in his vehicle.
Other syndicate members were named as Mitchel Jackson (28), Simbarashe Kaseke (37), Wellington Ncube (19), Robert Junior Mugabe (33), and Tanaka Kashambe (25).
Police said 25 sachets of Indo hybrid dagga and six ecstasy pills were recovered during the operation.
