Over Four Million Real Madrid Fans Sign Petition Demanding Mbappe’s Exit

Over Four Million Real Madrid Fans Sign Petition Demanding Mbappe’s Exit – Kylian Mbappé is reportedly facing growing criticism from supporters of Real Madrid after more than four million fans allegedly signed an online petition calling for the club to sell him.

The backlash comes during a difficult season for the Spanish giants, which has included managerial instability and a disappointing title race campaign.

Tensions escalated after Mbappe was spotted on holiday in Sardinia with his girlfriend, actress Ester Exposito, while recovering from a hamstring injury. Some supporters interpreted the trip as a lack of commitment following the club’s elimination from the UEFA Champions League and their significant points deficit behind rivals Barcelona in the LaLiga standings.

Reports have also emerged alleging that Mbappe was involved in a heated confrontation during training, where he allegedly reacted angrily towards a member of the coaching staff during a practice session.

His representatives defended the player, insisting the criticism was based on an “overinterpretation” of a supervised recovery period.

“The backlash does not reflect the commitment and work that Kylian does daily for the good of the team,” his team said in a statement.

Despite the controversy, Real Madrid coach Alvaro Arbeloa has publicly backed the player, saying the private lives of squad members are not his concern.

The situation has intensified ahead of Sunday’s El Clasico clash against Barcelona, a result that could determine the LaLiga title race.
