OK Zim, The Retailer With The Cheapest Bread In SADC

Rutendo Benson has been trending lately following his interview with Newsroom Africa which revealed a lot of things which did not sit well with many South Africans.

It seems like he is not stopping as he not stopping as he tweeted that Zimbabwe has the cheapest bread in the Southern region of Africa.

This analysis was provided after one of the leading retailers OK Zim posted a photo of their bread price.

Benson had this to say:

2022, Zim farmers delivered a wheat bumper harvest with a surplus, making Zim the only SADC country to achieve wheat self-sufficiency.  With 3 loaves at $1 at OK, a loaf of bread is therefore R5.80. The cheapest in SADC.

Well done Zim farmers. #TellingTheGoodZimbabweStory.
