Nigerian Man Celebrates Birth of Twin Boys After 16 Years of Waiting – Joy has flooded the home of Nigerian man Collins Egwurugwu, who announced the birth of his twin boys after 16 years of marriage and waiting.
Posting on Facebook on 30 November 2025, Collins shared photos of the newborns, who were delivered on 29 November.
Collins described the journey to fatherhood as painful and emotionally draining.

“16 Years. Hmmmmmm. It wasn’t an easy decision. To stay, to hold, not to give up. 16 years of pain, doubts, tears, worries, anxiety, questions,” he wrote.
He recalled attending countless child dedications while battling internal guilt and self-blame.
“I felt like I did something wrong. I asked myself, what did I do? I prayed for forgiveness of sins, pressures everywhere,” he said.
He added that he refused to “walk in the path of my father,” choosing instead to trust God.
“But God came through for me, na stick I drop, iron float. He showed me mercy, He watered my seed and gave me increase. God showed me GRACE!”
Celebrating the blessing, Collins declared:
“Today I am a proud father of two baby twin BOYS… My name na PAPA TWINS. Congratulations to me. Congratulations to my dear wife Queen Collins, the mother of my lovely twins.”
A grand child dedication ceremony is expected soon.
