Nigeria Government Shuts Down Brothel Hidden Inside Primary School

In a shocking discovery, the Edo State government has shut down a brothel found operating within the grounds of Ujuele Primary School in Esan West Local Government Area.

The revelation was made public during a press briefing in Benin City on Thursday, May 22. Eugene Okolosie, State Coordinator for the Protection of Government Property (PGP), revealed the state’s latest move to reclaim public assets from unauthorized use.

“At Ujuele Primary School, they constructed a brothel right on the premises,” Okolosie said, prompting audible reactions from the audience. “We’ve sealed off the brothel, and some of the reclaimed properties will be repurposed. Discussions with the governor are ongoing.”

The operation followed reports from concerned residents who flagged suspicious activity at the school. Investigations also uncovered that land grabbers allegedly forged documents to illegally claim school property.
