Ngundu Man Dies After Drinking S£xual Enhancement Concoction – A 48-year-old man from Ngundu, Chivi, has d¡ed after consuming two litres of a s£xual enhancement concoction, commonly known as guchu.
Masvingo Provincial Police confirmed the incident, identifying the deceased as Knowledge Chikafu of Mutsimba Village under Headman Gororo.
According to reports, Chikafu purchased the concoction on Sunday afternoon from 71-year-old Juliet Majoni of Chikamure Village, Headman Madzivire, at Ngundu bus terminus.

He consumed it on his way home but soon began vomiting.
His brother, Peter Chikafu, rushed him to Gororo Clinic around 4:30pm as his condition worsened. He was later transferred to Chivi District Hospital and subsequently to Masvingo Provincial Hospital, where he d¡ed on Wednesday night. A postmortem is yet to be conducted.
Police have since arrested Majoni, who allegedly sold the mixture, and recovered a bucket she is believed to have used in preparing her concoctions.
Masvingo Police Deputy Spokesperson, Assistant Inspector Masauso Patinyu, urged members of the public to desist from buying unlicensed traditional remedies.
“As the Police, we encourage citizens not to buy concoctions from unlicensed practitioners to avoid unnecessary loss of life,” he said.
