Mvurwi Robbery: Three Suspects on the Run After Stealing $US14,100
MVURWI – The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) is investigating a robbery that occurred along GMB Road near Mbizi location Turn-off, Mvurwi, on the evening of March 14, 2025.
In a statement posted on the ZRP’s official Twitter account, police confirmed that three suspects traveling in a black Toyota Probox intercepted a Honda Fit Hybrid vehicle.
The suspects allegedly smashed the complainant’s car and fled with a handbag containing US$14,100 in cash, an Ecocash Debit Card, and an Innbucks Visa Card.
Police are appealing to anyone with information that could lead to the suspects’ arrest to report to their nearest police station.
No injuries were reported during the incident and investigations are ongoing.
Authorities have urged residents to remain vigilant and cooperate with law enforcement officials.
