Murewa Woman (24) Sentenced for Having S£x with a 14-year-old Boy on Valentine’s Day
A 24-year-old woman has been sentenced to 26 months in prison after being found guilty of having sexual intercourse with a 14-year-old boy.
The sentencing took place at the Murewa Regional Magistrates’ Court.
According to the National Prosecuting Authority of Zimbabwe, on February 14, 2026, the woman visited the boy’s home, where he was with his brother. They spent time watching videos on a cellphone.
Later that night, the woman followed the boy to a room and initiated a sexual encounter, which led to intercourse.
The incident came to light on February 27, 2026, when the boy reported health concerns to his father.
After his father inquired, the boy revealed what had happened, prompting the family to report the situation to the police, leading to the woman’s arrest.
