Mosquito’s Story Inspired Forgiveness Among Cheating Spouses

Former champion boxer Arifonso “Mosquito” Zvenyika’s story has inspired men to forgive their unfaithful wives after he took back his wife, Jesman Mutokonya, who cheated on him. His story has encouraged others, including truck driver Gift Molai.

Gift, who caught his wife, Precious Hobwana, 39, in bed with his nephew Tatenda Chikengezha, 23, has decided to forgive her. Tatenda, who is single, often visited Gift’s home and seemed to have a strong interest in Precious.

Things took a turn when Precious accused Gift of cheating and moved out with their three children. She took all their belongings except for the bed and even handed Gift a divorce token.

One morning, when Gift went to see his children, he found Tatenda and Precious together in bed. Furious, Gift confronted Tatenda, who ran away naked and injured.

Despite the betrayal, Gift expressed his love for Precious, stating, “To be truthful, I love my wife.” He explained that Tatenda’s involvement caused problems in their marriage, leading to misunderstandings.

Gift and Precious had tried to resolve their issues with the help of family, unaware that Tatenda was a major factor in their troubles.

Gift discovered on Precious’s phone that she was planning to leave the country. He felt her behaviour had changed, and she was emotionally manipulating him. Yet, he remained calm and hopeful for reconciliation.

Tatenda could not be reached for comment but reportedly filed an assault complaint against Gift at Mabvuku Police Station.

Precious, on her part, refused to share her side of the story, stating that the media should get information from Gift, acknowledging that he was the source of their story.
