“My Four Girlfriends Helped Me Heal a Heartbreak” – Singer Ne-Yo Says

“My Four Girlfriends Helped Me Heal a Heartbreak” – Singer Ne-Yo Says –  After his 2022 divorce from Crystal Renay, R&B star Ne-Yo decided to approach love differently—by embracing a polyamorous lifestyle.

Now dating four women, the So Sick singer has found peace in honesty, a lesson he wishes he had learned earlier in life.

During an interview on Big Boy’s Neighborhood, Ne-Yo revealed that he no longer hides his romantic choices.

“I wasted so much time and money just lying for nothing,” he admitted.

“If I had been honest from the start, I could have saved myself a whole bunch of headache and heartache.”

Unlike his past relationships, where dishonesty caused pain, Ne-Yo now ensures full transparency.

“The beauty of it is, they all know about each other,” he shared. “I lay it out: ‘This is what it is, this is what it’s not,’ and let them make the choice.”

One of his girlfriends has been with him for years, longer than the others.

After deciding he would never lie again, he took her to dinner with the other women, gauging whether they could get along. The experiment worked.

“Because I led with honesty, everything came together,” he explained.

While his partners do not live with him, Ne-Yo keeps them “very close.”

However, he prioritizes his seven children, whom he shares with his ex-wife Renay, former fiancée Monyetta Shaw-Carter, and ex-girlfriend Sade Jenea Bagnerise.

Balancing multiple relationships isn’t easy, but Ne-Yo has found a system that works. When he’s on tour, each woman joins him for seven days before they all come together.

He believes the key is providing choice—something he failed to do in past relationships. “I used to take their choice away by cheating,” he reflected. “But when you lead with the option, no one’s being forced into anything.”

Despite criticism, Ne-Yo remains unapologetic about his lifestyle, believing it has freed him from the mistakes of his past.
