Media personality Minnie Dlamini has hit back at tweeps after they said she is bitter towards ex-boyfriend Itumeleng Khune, who is married.
Over the weekend, Minnie Dlamini presented Curated By Tanqueray following Mamelodi Sundowns’ win over Wydad Casablanca in the inaugural African Football League. Digressing, she swiped at Itumeleng Khune, whom she once dated from 2011 to 2014.
She mockingly asked if Khune was still playing football, to which she made a surprised expression and chuckled. The public did not take this lightly, and they bashed her. They reminded Minnie that Khune is happily married while she is now a bitter divorcee.
The actress and model later clarified that it was just a joke:
“No man it was just a joke. I have a comedian who writes my opening monologue for the show. They make fun of me mostly and what’s going on in society. It’s all in the name of fun and entertainment. No malice at all.”
Minnie took the dragging personally and recently released a video addressing people saying she’s a bitter divorcee. She shared a video and said:
“There are people out there who want me to wake up in the morning, put on make-up, fix my hair, dress well, look beautiful and look after my baby the whole day.”
She then turned the camera and showed people where she was staying because of work. Minnie was hinting that her life is perfect despite being single. Watch the video below.
