A devastating fire has ravaged the main production facility of MedTech Chicago Cosmetics in Ruwa, leaving a trail of destruction and temporarily disrupting operations.
The company, which boasts a diverse portfolio of brands including Clere, Shower to Shower, Satiskin, and Easy Waves, among others, has confirmed the incident.
As a leading manufacturer of cosmetics and personal care products, MedTech Chicago Cosmetics has established itself as a major player in the industry.
Its products cater to a wide range of consumers, offering solutions for skin care, hair care, and other personal grooming needs.
In a statement, Group Marketing Manager Gashirai Nyemba confirmed the fire outbreak, stating, “Our teams are working diligently to ensure an uninterrupted supply of products to the market and to uphold the trust our customers and partners place in us.”
Fortunately, no injuries were reported during the incident. However, the fire has resulted in significant losses, with goods worth thousands of dollars destroyed.
Nyemba assured stakeholders that robust contingency measures have been implemented to mitigate the impact of the disruption.
“Investigations into the cause of the fire are currently underway, and we are cooperating with the relevant authorities to determine the circumstances surrounding this incident. We remain committed to maintaining the highest standards of quality and service,” Nyemba said.
