Malawi Man Arrested After Stabbing Wife’s Lover to Death – Police in Mangochi, Malawi, have arrested a 29-year-old man accused of fatally stabbing a man he allegedly found having an affair with his wife.

Mangochi Police spokesperson Amina Daudi identified the suspect as Jafali M’bwana, while the deceased has been named as Sumaila Aubrey.

According to Daudi, investigations indicate that Aubrey had allegedly been involved in a romantic relationship with the suspect’s wife.

She said Aubrey reportedly visited the woman’s home believing her husband was away in Lilongwe and would not return that night.

However, M’bwana allegedly arrived home unexpectedly and forced his way into the house after his wife failed to open the door.

“According to investigations, the suspect found his wife having sexual intercourse with Aubrey before taking a knife and stabbing him in the chest,” Daudi said.

Although Aubrey managed to flee from the house, he later collapsed and died while attempting to escape.

The suspect has been taken into police custody and is expected to appear before court to face a murder charge.
