Kwekwe Woman Survives Crocodile Attack While Crossing River – A woman from Kwekwe, identified as Rumbidzai Musekiwa, is recovering at Gweru Provincial Hospital after surviving a crocodile attack while crossing the Mbembeswana River.

The terrifying incident reportedly left Musekiwa with severe injuries, including a serious leg fracture.

Following the attack, she was urgently transferred to Gweru Provincial Hospital for specialist medical attention.

Hospital sources said a specialised surgical team at a trauma camp successfully conducted an orthopaedic procedure to stabilise her injuries.

Musekiwa is currently recovering under medical supervision.

Authorities have urged members of the public to exercise caution when crossing rivers known to have crocodiles, especially during the rainy season and in isolated areas.
