Knowledge Musona Withdrawn from Warriors Squad Due to Injury – Warriors captain Knowledge Musona has been ruled out of Zimbabwe’s upcoming international friendlies against Qatar and Saudi Arabia after sustaining a hamstring injury.
The 35-year-old Scottland FC forward picked up the injury during a league match against Green Fuel FC on Saturday.
Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA) spokesperson Xolisani Gwesela confirmed that Musona will be replaced by European-based midfielder Tivonge Rushesha.

“Musona will not travel with the team as he needs time to recover fully,” Gwesela said.
ZIFA also announced that striker Tymon Machope will miss the matches after a minor calf strain. His place has been filled by Simba Bhora defender Isheanesu Mauchi.
The Warriors will face Algeria in Saudi Arabia on Thursday before playing Qatar four days later — matches that will mark coach Marian Marinica’s first in charge.
