Kenyan Teen Born With Two Vaginas Shares Struggles – A 19-year-old Kenyan woman, Abigael Kendi, has publicly shared her experience of living with a rare congenital condition that has significantly affected her daily life.
According to reports, Abigael was born with two uteri, two cervixes, two vaginas and one kidney, a condition medically linked to abnormalities in the development of the reproductive system.
She reportedly disclosed her story during an interview with BBC journalist Asha Juma, explaining that she has undergone seven surgeries aimed at restoring a normal menstrual cycle, but without success.

Abigael also revealed that she experiences severe pain twice a month despite never menstruating, due to complications related to the condition.
Doctors reportedly diagnosed her condition during her teenage years after she was hospitalised with severe abdominal swelling and difficulty urinating.
She is currently receiving treatment at Kenyatta National Hospital in Nairobi.
Abigael said the condition has brought emotional, financial and social challenges, including stigma and misunderstanding within her community.
She also spoke about relying on her family for strength while pursuing her dream of becoming a doctor.
