Kadewere First Ever Zimbabwean To Score In LaLiga

Warriors star Tino Kadewere became the first ever Zimbabwean to score in LaLiga, when he opened his account for Real Mallorca in their 4-2 win over Villarreal yesterday.

The Highfield-bred striker,  who is loan from French side Olympque Lyon, has been progressing well for the Javier Aguirre-coached side since recovering from injury.

Yesterday, in his first start Laliga start for Mallorca,  Kadewere needed just 20 minutes to get off the mark.

A mistake by Villarreal goalkeeper Pepe Reina saw Vedat Muriqi getting the ball in the box before squaring it for Kadewere,  who tapped home from close range.

Mallorca got their other goals from Muriqi and a double from Dani Rodríguez while Villarreal replied through José Luis Morales and Samuel Chukwueze.
