Indian Man Arrested for Murdering Girlfriend’s 7-Year-Old Daughter – A 26-year-old former marketing executive, Darshan Kumar Yadav, has been arrested for allegedly killing his girlfriend’s 7-year-old daughter because she “disturbed” his private time with the mother.

Police say the victim, Siri S, was found dead in her home in Ramasandra Village after Yadav assaulted and smothered her.

The child’s mother, Shilpa S.K, who worked as a business development officer, rushed home after hearing her daughter’s cries over the phone, only to find her dead.

Investigations revealed Yadav had pressured Shilpa to send Siri to a hostel so they could spend more time together. When she refused, he became violent and eventually killed the child.

Yadav, who was on the run, was arrested near Tumakuru Road and remains in police custody.
