Hwange Thief Jailed for ‘Nak£d Break-In’ – A 24-year-old Hwange man has been sentenced to 18 months in jail after breaking into a woman’s bedroom nak€d and attempting to undress her.
Marshal Comfort Nyathi, from Lwendulu village, was found guilty of @ggravated unlawful entry and indecent @ss@ult by a Hwange magistrate.
The incident occurred in the early hours of March 4, 2025.

The victim, who had secured her home and gone to bed around 9 PM the previous night, was startled awake when she felt someone tugging at her shorts.
To her sh0ck, she found a nak£d man in her room.
Nyathi had gained entry by placing a brick under a window, opening it, and climbing inside.
When confronted, he apologized, introduced himself, and professed his love for her.
Keeping her composure, the woman turned on the light and quickly took a picture of Nyathi.
Realizing he had been caught, he tried to escape through the window, but she blocked his way. After she called out to her mother for help, he eventually fled.
The victim reported the incident to the police, leading to Nyathi’s arr€st and trial.
Prosecutors emphasized the disturbing nature of his actions, which left the victim tr@umatized.
Following his conviction, Nyathi was sentenced to 18 months behind bars, with the magistrate denouncing his actions as both unlawful and indecent.
