Holy Ten to Return to Court on August 27  – Zimbabwean hip-hop artist Mukudzei Chitsama, better known as Holy Ten, is expected back in court on August 27 after the matter was postponed to allow police to complete their investigations.

During a brief court appearance on Friday, prosecutors told the court that four suspects believed to be connected to the case are still on the run, with investigations still ongoing.

Holy Ten remains free on US$500 bail. Under the conditions of his release, he must report to the police once every week, continue living at his registered address and avoid any contact that could interfere with State witnesses.

According to the prosecution, the complainant, a 14-year-old girl, allegedly met the rapper in Avondale before they travelled to Hatfield, where the alleged rape is said to have taken place.

The court postponed the matter to August 27 to allow investigators to conclude their work before the case proceeds.
